Step 8. 

Select a place on the side of the drum body (the side where other electronic parts are already mounted) and drill a 9/32" hole (click here for placement photo)

Install a 1/8" mini phone jack (Radio Shack # 274-251) into the hole.  Make sure to tighten down the threaded retaining ring on the outside of the toy.
