Step 6. 

Install the switch and connector into the project enclosure.  Leave the washer on the switch on the inside of the project enclosure to help reduce the switch profile.

 

The 1/8" mini jack should be installed in the end of the project enclosure.

 

Be sure to tighten the retaining nuts on both the switch and the jack.
