Step 4. 

Mark the inside of the control case in the location indicated by the blue arrow.  

Carefully drill a 9/32" hole through the case centered on the mark you just made.

This hole will be used for the 1/8" mini jack.

! Note: Support the section as you drill it to prevent cracking the plastic and possibly injuring  yourself.
